About uncovermyrisk.com
Free, plain-English health risk checks, each built on a published, validated score.
What this site is
uncovermyrisk.com gathers a small set of health risk checks in one place: type 2 diabetes, heart disease, sleep apnea, fatty liver scarring and stroke. Each tool uses a score from a peer-reviewed paper or a national health body, names its source, states who it was validated for and lists its limits. No sign-up, and nothing you type leaves your browser.
Who we are
The site is written and maintained by the uncovermyrisk.com editorial team. We are not doctors, and the site has no medical reviewer at this time. We do not show reviewer names, credentials or testimonials we do not have. Instead, every health claim on a page links to its primary source (CDC, NIH, USPSTF, AHA, ADA or the original paper), so you can check it yourself.
Who publishes the site
uncovermyrisk.com is published by MediLeadGen, a service of Creahive Health, which is a Creahive brand. Our sister sites are controla1clevels.com, an A1c converter, and knowtoprevail.com, which lists the screenings recommended for your age and sex. The tools here still run only in your browser, so nothing you type reaches MediLeadGen or anyone else.
Editorial standards
- Only published, validated scores. If a method is not published, it is not on the site.
- Code is tested against the published worked examples or reference implementations before a tool goes live. See our method.
- Every page shows a last-reviewed date and its sources.
- No cures, supplements, or advice to start or stop any medicine.
- We correct errors as soon as we confirm them, and update the review date.
How the site is funded
We plan to show display advertising. Ads never see what you type into a tool, and advertisers have no say in our content. There are no sponsored tools.
